Ecclesiastes 12:13“…hear the conclusion of the whole matter; fear God and keep His commandments.”
Why?
Ecclesiastes 12:14“For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.”
Hebrews 9:27“…it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment…”
Romans 3:23“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
Romans 6:23“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
What’s the solution? Jesus
Matthew 1:21“…you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
John 14:6“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 15:14 Jesus said, “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.”
We must have faith
Romans 10:17“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Hebrews 11:6“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
We must repent of our sins
Luke 13:3 “…unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
Acts 2:38“…Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”
We must confess Jesus
Matthew 10:32 Jesus says, “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him will I confess before My Father who is in heaven.”
Romans 10:10 “…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
We must be baptized
Mark 16:16 Jesus says, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
Acts 22:16“Now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”
1 Pet. 3:21 “…this is the antitype which now saves us – baptism…”
After being baptized…
Galatians 5:22-23 The apostle Paul says,“…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…”
2 Peter 1:5-7“…giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue. To virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, and to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.”
2 Peter 3:18 The apostle Peter says to Christians, “…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…”
Hebrews 10:25 “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Revelation 2:10 Jesus says,“…Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
